These artworks are part of a digital project and exist only as a virtual conception. To allow the artist to adapt her work more specifically to the wishes of the collector or the technical requirements of an architectural concept, these paintings are presented exclusively as digital imagos. They can be virtually inserted by the artist into photographs of the client’s rooms or architectural blueprints, to allow a customized adaption. The proposed dimensions of the artwork can be adjusted to the buyer’s preferences. The price will be adapted to the size of the work. Once the adjustments finished, the artist will be commissioned to realize the painting

TECHNIQUE AND STYLE: The Vicos-paintings are realized on a plywood support, overlaid with elaborate collage work. The actual painting is executed on this subfont, which makes for a «brut», uneven surface. The interaction of bold geometric drawing and tactile materiality is a key element of the collection.
The Vertical Frieze series was born out of frustration, when I had to turn down a very interesting project, because the desired dimensions of the artwork did not fit through the door of my studio. As my (otherwise adorable!) landlord stubbornly refused to demolish his frontdoor for the passage of my masterpieces, I had to find another way out of my door dilemma and came up with these narrow, elongated shapes like vertical friezes, composed of three panels of approximately 197x200cm each. The three panels can be screwed together or simply hung one on top of the other. The finalised paintings will have a width of max 197cm (adapted to the (in)famous door) and can be adapted in height to the design of the painting and the preferences of the collector, architect or interior designer..
